These platinum selling folk'n'rollers are set to turn the notoriously muddy festival fields of the UK into dancing dust-bowls, adding energy to influences, notably including Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. Debut album Sigh No More is riding the crest of the recent folk revival which has propelled the likes of Laura Marling and Noah And The Whale into the mainstream. The record effortlessly incorporates the group's love of country and bluegrass, providing dobro driven chart anthems (not an often used phrase).
"Roll Away Your Stone" is a jaunty banjo jangle exuding the confidence the quartet has in handling delicate genres to create something altogether powerful. A melancholic build gives way to jublilance as foot stomping, crowd jumping and tambourine clasping ensues. The new single is available from the June 7 and will be accompanied with the B-side live recording of White Blank Page from one of the band's recent headline dates at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.
