I would want to relive high school so I could be a better student and make the most out of my social life. I go decent grades in high school, but I could've done better. I was very lazy. Also, I didn't make the most out of my teen years. I didn't date, go to parties, extracurricular activities, etc. I was very shy and kept to myself.

My childhood was the happiest period of my life. No worries. I would do anything to go into a time machine and relive my childhood all over again. I would also want to relive high school. I would make the most of my social life and get better grades.

Not to go back to change anything but I'd go back to my childhood just so I can have stories to tell my son. Even in high school we had do write something about what we did as a kid and I wasn't able do it because I couldn't remember.

I always take care of my present and look into future.
From my past, I just analyse my experience.

my 20's -- I would of went to college sooner, started my business sooner, had more kids and raised them better than what I did with my two. I like to redo how I raised them. their good kids but I don't think I raised them good enough. I'm 42 year old and starting feel the age. Maybe stop popping my bones because now I hurt in those areas. Maybe not lay in the tanning bed so much maybe my skin wouldn't look so old and ect. I don't smoke so I did do one thing right. :-D

Childhood had its fun times, but it was full of anxiety for me. High school was like serving a prison sentence. I would say college; I had a lot of fun and didn't have to worry about health insurance, a job, and how long I can live with my parents before it's considered weird.

If I could go back and relive a time in my life... I would have to say I would love to relive the last 20 yrs. I'm 51 now and nothing wrong with that, but my happiest in life has been the last 20yr. It was just to much fun being 30 and single with a beautiful daughter and learning all about life and just flat out having fun. working doing what I wanted and knowing that with everything I did I was the one that would rep the benefits in life. I got remarried at 42 to the love of my life and my soulmate and life has been great, now I'm getting older and sometimes the aches and pains hurt and they have all just crept up on me in the last month. So yah I would love to relive the last 20 yrs again.

In high school, I had (comparatively) short working days, and I was at the top of my class. In college, I had more to deal with and I wasn't at the top of my classes because I was surrounded by people who were at the top of THEIR classes. Then my brothers walked out on the family never to be seen again. Then came my entry to the business world, my small faltering startup, and the partner who totally screwed us over. Then came the cutbacks, the recession, the more cutbacks and pay cuts, and the years of barely hanging on. Then came my parents needing care and me the only son left to do it. So yeah, I wouldn't mind reliving high school.

Interesting reading a lot of comments answering the exact opposite of what the poll asked, all the horrible stuff that happened to them in the period of their life they'd never want to relive, without ever touching on the answer they gave in the poll. (Even if that answer was they would relive no part of their life.)

I don't want to live anything over although I have had a good life. I would like to be able to see what path my life would have taken if I had made different decisions that the ones I did make. Like what would have happened if I had married earlier in life as I had the opportunity to. What would have happened if I had never married etc.

I want to relive my childhood memories. My parents were together, my uncle was alive, I was carefree and didn't know about the difficulties in life. High school wasn't that great, College was alright but I'm going to go back again anyway and redo college in present time. I'm in my 20s and there are so many things that have happened that are both good and bad that it's such a mixed roller coaster.

Nothing that I would relive as it was. I often think about how far I'd go if I could go back knowing what I know and change things and each negative turning point (and all the turning points have been negative) I would change leads back to earlier ones. Probably the earliest major point that I could have had some choice or influence on & that would have sent my future down a much different path, was when I was around 9 or 10, but there would still be other things from this timeline that could happen & I would need to know to change or avoid. But there are a lot of smaller or useful changes I would like to make even before that would help build a different & better future life.

My dad is an alcoholic and he won't admit it. He's been that way for several years, at least all of my life, but he doesn't think he has a problem. It always makes me feel so much better when I see that there are people like you out there that admit what has happened and go into sobriety. Thank you so much and congrats on 3 years :D

Good for you, keep up the good job staying sober. My oldest sister is killing her self literally from her drinking. She is 68, and has been diagnosed acute alcoholism with cirrhosis of the liver, she was told to stop drinking, she did for about eight months. On her birthday she started in again and is worse that before. She drinks whiskey and water. She the oldest of four and the only one in the family that drinks, it breaks our hearts to see her like that, all we can do at this point is to keep praying for her. I will pray for you too.

It depends on what it is. Some things I would want to relive and not redo them but just experience them again because I miss that time. Then there are other things I wish I had done differently. However, I'm glad that I can't change things that are in the past, because every mistake helps me to be who I am today, and in the future.

I wouldn't want to change (re-do) my life at all. If I did, I wouldn't have had the misfortunes that led me to marry my wonderful second husband or to have our terrific son. Sometimes you have to endure difficulties in order to be able to appreciate your blessings later.

true, but sometimes I think of them saying reliving as appreciating the time frame and reflecting on it. I guess they could have meant redo, but I took it as asking what time in my life would I like to relive and revisit the experience.

I considered Childhood, but honestly.. Highschool. I would do a lot of things differently, taken different subjects, and inquired about different programs around the school, clubs and co-op placements and such that would have benefitted me in the long run rather then ignore these things. I also would have told a few people where they could stick it! :)

Generally, I like this poll. BUT, the poll seems to indicate, probably unintentionally, that only periods of life below 30 would be desirable to relive. Studies have suggested that the favored decade of a person's life was most often the thirties. We are still relatively young and energetic, often settled into a career, frequently with a life partner, and blessedly enjoying young children. Thus far, I find my thirties to be an absolute joy.

I haven't made it to my thirties yet, but I'm getting pretty close. I hope I'm settled into a career by then, I've been changing interests a lot in this stage. I've graduated college but I am changing careers so I'm going back to college for something different and possibly doing a masters. Hopefully by my thirties I'll have figured a little bit of this out and found a guy and started a family. I guess the 20s are still in the young professional experimental stage.
