Does Dan Brown's Angels and Demons count as a thriller? I think it's a thriller.

Commuting, if you're not driving, is the best time to read.
Ed McBain, Clive Cussler, Ken Follett, James Joyce, list is endless. (Not all the same genre)
Give me a borrowed book from the library, and it's all good.
(With the exception of the above authors, I've bought/kept some editions ;)

Audiobooks can be your friend! If the reader is good, it's almost as good as the real thing, and you can listen while you commute, work around the house, exercise, whatever! My husband has probably "read" more books in his thirty minute round-trip commute the past four years than he had in his entire life prior, and I got through a large number of classics I had somehow missed in my high school education while running errands in the car with a new baby.

I enjoyed reading the excerpt, but I also don't see the swagbucks showing up in my account. Would be happy to earn swagbucks this way in the future, but I would expect them to actually be awarded.

My favorite mystery authors are Louise Penny, Elizabeth George, Deborah Crombie, and Julia Spencer-Fleming. Each of them has a series of mysteries with compelling plots, complex characters, and a real sense of "place". Lisa Scottoline's Rosato and Associates novels are also good, fun reads, and I have "Accused" on my wish list.

I didn't get the SBs, and the ad isn't making St. Martin's Press look very professional---they've left out a word in the teaser description ("Now, everyone’s favorite team of unstoppable female lawyers takes on their ____? unusual case yet), misspell the main character's name ("Lawyer Mary DiNunzzio" instead of DiNunzio as it is in the text), AND misspelled the author's name ("award-winning author Lisa Scottline" instead of Lisa Scottoline)! What a mess.
