What is the MAIN reason you want to lose weight? Submitted By Team Swagbucks, CA
I want to improve my health (and enjoy a longer life).
I want to increase my energy and get around more easily.
I want to fit in my (skinny jeans / bikini / favorite suit)!
I want to look great for an upcoming event (reunion, wedding, etc.).
I want to become a happier person.
I don't think I need to lose weight.

I need to weight train or something to build muscle, in order to GAIN healthy weight (NOT fat) & reach the healthy weight spectrum on the BMI chart.

I cannot lose weight. Because if I do, I will probably have organ failure & eventually DIE.

I'm 26 and I've always been fat so it's no big deal to me to be the size I am but my concern is for my 6yr old son. I want to be healthier for him. I went to the doctors and had blood work and all levels checked and I am healthy, everything is well within normal ranges, some a little on the high end, but still normal. The only thing not normal is my weight. He loves me just the way I am and loves my squishy belly but I want to be around to see him grow up and have kids and his kids have kids. Fitting into cuter clothes is just the perk to losing weight.

My husband is very overweight, and I told him the other day that I don't care how big he is or gets, I just care about his health. I'd like him to be around for a very long time! Proud of you for wanting to be healthier for him! It's a good example for him, also. Good luck!

Forget the nutrition part on the label!!!! READ the ingredients instead! Have lost 30 pounds in 4 months doing that. NO artificial sweetners, NO soy esp. soy lectin (which slows down matabalisiom (okay I can't spell)

This isn't great advice. Reading the label helps in terms of calorie control, which is vital for weight maintenance.

FYI, artificial sweeteners are NOT bad for you. They have been proven safe, but the internet keeps wanting to think that they're poison because rumors are tough to kill.

Ive never been heavy but when l got sick the put me on medication that made me gain weight now lm being put on another kind of meds hopefully it will.wrk

It's not a shameful question. Some people care about how they look more than others and some people just like to stay fit and healthy. It's a positive thing to set goals like fitting into your favorite pair of jeans again. Whatever motivates you to get healthier! :)

I'm an athlete so I'm already fit but if I needed to lose weight it'd be so that I look absolutely gorgeous when my boyfriend takes me to prom! :)

Amen! I need to do that too and am trying but it is really hard after so many years and still taking care of everyone else. Also silly me had to have my two boys 17 years apart which is VERY hard on the old bod! LoL Seriously though, it is an unfortunate fact that most women do not take enough care of themselves. Personally I think it's because we just don't have enough time. Now that I'm older I have realized a saying that really is true is that, "A woman's work is NEVER done!" Oh God how true that is! LoL ;o)

I have been 145 pounds for the last 25 years. I can eat what I want and never gain a pound. My wife says my metabolism makes her sick!

If I lose weight there will be nothing left of me. I am 5 8 and 120 pounds i have always been a little person and I can eat whatever I want and not worry about it. I have even been pregnant and still a little person. I know alot of you hate me.So I gues I need a gain weight plan.

I need to stop being lazy and lose some weight for health reasons. Mainly to get my heart rate to go down some. I try donating plasma but I often am unable to as my heart rate is too high. Everything else is fine, but my pulse is high and I have to try again. :(
