It will be 10 years next year...I may just have to celebrate with my brother. He was my only classmate in our homeschool class of 2004. ;)

I went to my 25th HS class reunion. I really didn't enjoy it because it was not organized.

A friend dragged me to our ten-year hs reunion. It was good to see some of the people I'd lost touch with over the years. Nobody had really changed much, though. And it was weird, only three of us had kids. Out of a class of 70 or so, that's not many.

I went to my 10, 20 ones hated them. Then my 31th one they had an alumni prom. I never got to go to my prom so I went to that one! Loved every minute of it. Would go again if they did that again.

It's kind of sad how many people said no because they weren't interested. In my class, I had about 3 friends(all my other friends were from other schools or other grades). I really disliked the rest of my grade. But I still want to go to my reunion in the future. I mean there's so many reasons. Whether it's to show off your success, see old friends you've lost touch with, or just the curiosity of how others turned out.

I think you'll regret missing your reunion once you're old and some the kids from your class are dead and gone.

I won't regret it. I couldn't stand most of the people I went to school with and don't really care how they turned out. If there is someone that I do want to be in touch with I can do it through Facebook.

Well I chose that one because I have had my 10 yr renuion but was unable to go due to be unemployed and preggo at the time! One income did not leave us enough extra cash to make it but hopefully I will be able to make my 20 yr!! (That was the best option for me!)

I don't think this is the case for some people. I don't care to show off anything that I've got, nor do I care what anyone else has. I grew up and had a family, thats all I need. I never liked people, so even those few people I did get along with back in school wouldn't make me want to go. I personally don't care how others have turned out. I can guarantee that I won't regret it one bit. But I suppose that some people may, but not all.

I have missed two and have absolutely no regrets and never will. I am proud of myself and that it enough. I don't need recognition or validation from others. I am also not a braggart and have no need to show off anything. If the opinion of those people mattered to me I would make them a part of my daily life. Somethings belong in the past.

Ditto for me! I detested school even though I was a good student. But I was one of those who was always picked on and bullied for whatever reason and no one ever did anything about it or stood up for me. Why in the WORLD would I want to go back and see those disgusting people? To tell them off? They're not worth my time!

The way I see it, I didn't like the people when I went to school with them and I certainly was not going to pay money to see them again.

I wouldn't go if someone paid ME a thousand dollars an hour. They were truly dreadful people then and I can't imagine that they have changed in the years since.

I hope to attend my 51st class reunion this fall. I made several life long friends in High School but now we live all over the USA. I went to my 40th and had a great time. I guess from the previous comments it all depends on the friendships you made while in High School.

they had it at a place I can't go. Zip line jumping? 55.00 a person. I'm handicaped and in a wheelchair, Pizza party at a golf course? Stairs no place for someone that can't walk. Out to dinner at a place I can't afford on Disability. I'm Divorced, alone and can't do somethings. They even had a party at one of the peoples in charge homes, split entry, steps, oh well.. I'm 58 what do you do?
amhale11
on 08/05/13
Wow, if my reunion was zip line jumping I wouldn't have gone either! I have MS, and I can't do a lot of things either. I'm not in a wheelchair, but I have balance issues and get tired really easily. It's too bad they couldn't do something that everyone would be able to attend. I'm 38, divorced, and alone. We should be friends :)

No, but not because I wasn't interested. It conflicted with other plans that had been made and paid for already. There really wasn't an option for that scenario.

I went to my 10 year. Classmates were keeping the cash bar going. Went to my 20 year. It was a little fun but even more classmates were drunk. I got groped by one of our football players that was drunk. His pregnant wife watched him do it. That was when I left. My 25 year was this past Saturday night. I saw pictures on Facebook....most of them had alcohol in hand. I drink once in a while but when you are going to see other people and talk to them...being drunk is not the way to do it. I have no desire to go again. I had more classmates that I was friends with before and after my grade that it is no big loss to me.
