So far I haven't seen any game I'd actually want that isn't coming out on the PC. So I have no reason to buy a PS4 or Xbox one.

Any suggestions on fun but not super hard Wii games for 4 year olds? My daughter has played (had fun with, not beaten) "Pac-Man" and "SuperMan" on my Atari and "Barbie"(actually successfully completed)and "Impossible Mission" on my Commodore 64. I want to work on her coordination, and her problem-solving skills, and sticking to it (she likes to give up as soon as it is slightly difficult. I'm hoping that playing video games can change that.

I don't know if you'll see this or not since it's a new day but I got to thinking and if you have Wii fit with the balance board there are a ton of activities on it. We have 'Wii Fit plus' and the kids here absolutely love it! They have games that help with balance and posture as well as yoga and others for all ages. You can do just about anything, from skate boarding to flying around in a chicken suit! You can even have a snowball fight or lead a parade. Thought I'd mention it it's definitely one I would recommend for anyone

Nintendo land would be perfect I think and you can play together you could also get her the u draw studio since tablet drawing is the new big thing and she should have loads of fun with that without the mess for you :D hope this helps

The Namco Museum Megamix is pretty good... And try some other classics like Mario. My 5 yr old niece loves the just dance games and wii sports. We also love family game night

There are a couple girls in the house and one of the games we got is 'Go Diego Go! Safari Rescue' with, of course, characters from the show. The kids loved playing it and it involves various activities requiring different motions of the wii-mote it's pretty simple so she should be able to handle it and it's educational so... Bonus! :D They also have some Dora games and others as well. We got ours used from gamestop I think. They tend to be cheaper that way and you never know what you might find, anyway anything with an E rating should be simple enough, although 'Epic Mickey' proved a bit confusing and difficult. 'Tangled' was better though....

Anyway, hope this helps! Hope you have a wonderful day! :)

There are character games on the Wii that might be good for her. Sesame Street does some things and there are probably games for any of her favorite tv characters if you look for those.
My younger brother started playing the Lego Star Wars and Lego Batman games around the age of 4, and he needed my help quite a bit at first, but he stuck with it and got better. He's now 7 and can play completely on his own.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is a fun one. It's too hard for a 4 year old, but once you've lost on the level a certain amount of times it will show the computer completing the level. So you can basically beat the game without making it through a single level on your own.

You will love it, I bought both of my kids one a couple months ago ..we are a "Mario" family and those are usually the games we play, so it was the next step after the Wii and their DSi's.. the graphics are good, get your games at Toys R Us, and buy the warranty..our local store will give a gift card if you beat the game or even get bored with it ,for the full price of the game(usually right around 40$ after tax) ..you cant beat the deal..plus all regular games work too...

I'm a pretty hardcore gamer, and I'm not going to own one right off the bat. But I can't believe the number was that high on the non-ownership. Although, people know that games will still be released for the old consoles, and in a couple years, the new ones will drop in price.

I feel like Microsoft had an ulterior motive when setting the new "must buy your own game, cant share" rule...like seriously that spells FAIL! And of course they've realized it, and took it back, but its too late the damage has been done! I'm switching to PS4 >:\

But seriously i dont think Xbox is that dumb so they probably did that stunt knowing the outcome and then taking back what they said...it seems like a marketing skeem or something. Its just fishy.

My husband and son follow gaming...you don't want to go with Xbox. Xbox is going completely online. They already regret that move and know it's going to, pretty much, ruin them. They already charge for everything under the sun now...whereas, PS isn't like that at all.

For now, they'll be mostly like the PS4's features (used games, offline play, etc.), but... they do have a written clause that states that they can change ANY/ALL of their policies at ANY time, so if they decide a month after release that they wanna make all games online play, the 24 hr check in, no used games, DRM, 1 hr game play at a friends house, only 1 friend can use your game (and only after that friend has been on your friend's list for 30 days) then you can't let another friend borrow it... they can change back to all of that, and I bet that most likely, they will. Not right away, but they will...

Microsoft changed the 24 hr check in. They removed the DRM (for those that don't kno - it's basically a feature that only allows one person to play the game disc ever, with the exception of one other person - it's so people don't share games, trade them in, or download pirated copies of games), they now allow the use/purchase/trade-in of used games. Basically, all the features that prove they only care about money and not consumers were removed (for now).

even tho you go out and buy the physical game disc, MS was trying to say that you still did not own the game and they held all the power to everything, but at the same time, they tried to blame it on the game developers by saying it was their fault the next gen console was gonna be that way. LIES!! Microsoft are greedy, money hungry vultures, waiting to pick our bones dry. They only went back on these features because they knew Sony was catering to the consumer by allowing the use of all these features.
oFLIPSTARo
on 06/26/13
X1 was never completely online. They just required you to check in at least every 24 hours along with limitations on used games. Now you only need to connect once. You'll have to start paying for multiplayer on PS4. X1 will have a better multiplayer platform than PS4.
