Yes, I make it from scratch.
No, I use a jar of sauce I got from the store.
Kinda. I get a jar of sauce and modify it.

I am italian and believe that when it comes to spaghetti, I will eat only the family recipe. I can't stand the watered down american version. Where they need to make as much profit even if it means sacrificing the flavor.

It's also funny how serious people can be. Life isn't meant to be taken so serious all the time. Gotta learn to lighten up a little....

LOL I had a secret recipe I picked up many years ago. I volunteered at a local youth club and was asked to cook! I gave it away! Made some earlier was gorgeous. In essence find a nice sauce you like i.e shelf and see what they use then remove all teh fake ingredients and substitute with fresh ones etc etc one you have the sauce rduce it a little by simmering on a low heat then do your pasta when pasta boils nick some of that water now full of starch and add to the suace again then simmer sauce and reduce a little. Hey presto your sauce is done.

I reckon that it would depend what country people are from, as to how they make there spaghetti sauce.

I season spaghetti sauce with garlic powder, salt & pepper, and Oregano. I also put onion powder in it.

Store-bought is actually pretty good. Just concerned about additives not listed as ingredients.

I make sauce in my crockpot so that it low simmers for hours and hours. Tastes better that way I think. All from scratch too. Simple ingredients cooked simply. What is better then that? Certainly not jarred sauce that some warehouse has had sitting on a shelf for about a year.

the store-bought kind is too sweet and has mystery ingredients. I learned in a college health class if you can't pronounce the ingredients you probably shouldn't be eating them!

I know how to make my own spaghetti sauce from scratch, and I have done it numerous times. By scratch, I mean actually using fresh tomatoes. However, there are many times where I save time, and buy the cans of tomato sauce and flavor it.

I also know how to make clam, alfredo, and pesto sauces from scratch. However, to be technical, you serve these with fettuccine, not spaghetti.

My mother and sisters use the pre-made sauces, like Ragu, but I don't. I don't think they taste very good.

never ever add garlic unless you are eating alone it not only make's your breath stink it make's the whole house stink. So gentleman when having a lady over for dinner you can spice it up with everthing from more meat to any spice except garlic and you will have a great night. this note was brought to you by gray444 the master of meal's and ladies

My Store only sells Dry Spaghetti noodles.
I can't get any sauce out of those noodles.
And the Noodles always seem to be off yellow, almost white..
How people get red sauce out of them, I will never understand.

The Noodles dont have sauce in them!
You have to put sauce on them!
Also noodles are supposed to be yellow!

Umm....The noodles don't have sauce in them, you buy or make sauce to go with the noodles all noodles are dry. The noodles are suppose to be yellow/off white. The sauce is red because its made from tomatoes.

I don't know why you would think the noodles had sauce in them. !?
