History, it's just memorizing crap. While math and English are more basic and have to do with solving or correcting things. Science isn't quite as bad as history but still not as easy as math and English.

Though I no longer remember a lot of the math I once knew, I chose math simply because I had a lot of trouble with geometry. I did really well with algebra, but just could not understand geometry without help. That said, if you put any of that stuff in front of me now, I wouldn't remember anything about how to do it!

wow you guys really really suck at literacy...

Well, that may be true, but please be careful. You did not use a proper sentence nor capitalize anything your statement. That is just an observation.
HopefulGJL23
on 05/02/13
And now I see I accidentally missed a word so you can see I'm not perfect either; but then, no-one is. That should be, "...anything in your statement." I do apologize for that.

Anything analytical came easy to me. Math was my favorite subject and I liked history until 11th grade. The teacher seriously thought it was a college course. He was so picky about every detail. Even though I passed with an A, it became my hardest subject. I guess it helped that I have a very good memory.

My worst was ART. My teacher didn't like my idea of art. It isn't supposed to be what other people thought was your niche but my own. I did a mosaic for my final exam and he said he didn't like mosaics so I had to change my idea of art and go with whatever other people thought was normal. WHAT IS NORMAL in ART???

Definitely English. It's not a subject that can be easily revised and it's just SO complicated. Especially if you're being FORCED to do English Literature for no good reason. PE shouldn't even be there as far as I'm concerned. It's not an important subject so I don't really think about it.

You're kidding, right? Making sure kids learn basic healthy habits falls squarely in the "parents' responsibility" section; schools should teach the science of diet and exercise but it's not their responsibility to make sure kids are sufficiently active and it wastes time and resources that could be better spent elsewhere.

As if 45 minutes in PE in high school gym would keep us from becoming fat! All you have to do is get dressed into a gym uniform to pass! You don't even have toe exercise to pass!!! The gym teachers don't even care about the good students who fail in gym but pass other classes like me. They care more about the hoodlums because they side with the cool kids who'll be parents in 1 year or 2 just because they want to be the "cool" teacher. I get more exercise walking from class to class. I say gym should be taken out of schools because its not going to solve the obesity problem and it only takes time away from studying and homework! I'm definitely not a potato couch but I definitely won't be forced to exercise in PE!

I used to fake getting sick just to get out of taking P.E. because I'm very shy and timid, I didn't like having to deal with the other students especially when we go out to play the games, I dreaded it, and well now I kinda regret it. lol But I exercise regularly on a daily basis now though.

I really disagree. My PE classes were never just about suiting up or who was the teacher's favorite. PE helped me develop a life-long desire to get my heart-rate up and release seratonin. Even though I'm never a consistent exersizer, I work at it over the years and I always feel better when I get out and exercise. I'm glad my PE classes encouraged exercise, movement, and taking care of our bodies physically.

I take ballet(which is harder than football) and exercise but I suck at PE!! But the government feels the need to make PE mandatory!?!?! Did you know that when I did a survey for an English class paper on thoughts on Gym for a persuasive essay on why it shouldn't be mandatory in NJ most kids thought that it was pointless and it made them feel like being lazy rather than start exercising. Well the AP students thought that because I'm an straight A student in AP classes except in gym where I'm failing for not wearing a uniform even though I have to walk which gives me more exercise then standing around waiting for a volleyball to hit me in my face for the 100th time because some F- guys feel the need to show off there strength by hitting the ball really hard even if it hits a girl in the face (but don't think I'm an idiot just because I fail gym).

Every subject had it's fault for me for one reason or another, and the teachers offered very little help. I could of done better if I had someone to help me. I still managed though. I'd say the worst one was English because I couldn't understand how to do an essay properly. lol

I used to get the highest marks in Math and English in high school, but I was awful at them in University, math ended up being the first subject I ever failed. And for some reason, I still ended up majoring in English, I think it was just so I could write an essay on Harry Potter, which I finally did in my last year! . . and still only got a C+. :P

My worst overall subject was probably science. I know studies say it's a "guy's subject," but Physics never made sense to me.

Math was tricky for me because I was determined to do it all in my head and not write anything down. When I did write stuff down, I tended to rush, so it didn't work real well then either. When I actually took the time to do it properly, it was pretty easy.
PE has been my favorite for the past four years, because I'm doing ballet.
