Um, wondering why my original comment is under review? Probably that girl who was spamming everybody did it because I asked her not to spam me. lol. Well, I didn't flag anyone. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was annoyed by the 50 posts about her business.lol. Anyway, @unicorncandy- sorry to hear that. I'd never heard of makeup causing rashes when someone relocates before. So strange since I grew up here. I've been back here for 5 years now I think. Maybe I should give the makeup another try. I have always had trouble with rashes under my rings here so I'm gonna guess I won't have much luck. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will give it another try. :)

It was not spam and I did not do it. I was just kindly telling people what they could do to help their bad reactions to makeup. I thought that was the point of replying to people.

A a Mary Kay beauty consultant, I agree, skincare is more important than makeup! If you have great skin, you need to spend less time on makeup, because you aren't covering up, you are accenting. And I have guys in my ife that have said they dislike makeup unless it is minimal and accenting.

My sister cant go out without makeup, I used to do just eye liner but for Christmas last year she gave me a lot. So now I just do just my eyes and sometimes a little blush. If you do it just right you don't need to wear tons to make it work.

I'm a woman who HATES makeup. I hate the feel of it, any of it. I've tried so many different types and "natural" things; everything makes me feel gross. I hate it. I can only be cajoled into it for special occasions.

Makeup was originally invented for and used by men. Now (a lot of) men are terrified of it as though it amounts to anything more than paint.

Paint around the eyes isn't any different than the vaguely rectangular paint smears football players sport on their cheeks.

Are there any men here who wear makeup? The 26% of answers currently in the "never" category seems too small, given the likely gender balance of users on the site. I've never heard of guys wearing makeup before, but maybe there are some products that qualify for "any kind of makeup."

Why does it always come to judging. People are trying to point out what you're doing is wrong, and they're told, they're judging. People just don't like to hear that what they're doing is wrong, and not cool.

Also, who says only women can wear makeup? My sis has started covering my brother's pimples (we do the same). She has this awesome foundation that's light & airy & as long as you put on a small amount, no one even knows you're wearing make up. The particular one she uses has acne fighting properties as well & after a day of wearing it, the swelling on your pimples goes down dramatically. Also, even if it wasn't for that, I guess I'm used to straight cross dressing men, a lot of my favorite bands are straight guys who wear makeup. :P

My eyelashes and eyebrows are white, so when I would go without makeup, people were constantly asking me if I felt okay. That got old, but the real reason I wear makeup everyday is because I just feel more myself with it on. Sounds weird- and most days I don't wear more than mascara and brow pencil- but when I look in the mirror I expect to see me with eyelashes and eyebrows.

Yes, people are beautiful without makeup. But makeup can make you feel more attractive, powerful, professional, younger, healthier, etc. Putting on makeup doesn't have to mean shellacking your face with 7 layers of toxic products. A simple swipe of color on the lips and eyes makes a huge difference in how you feel about yourself and how others perceive you. It's not about changing who you are, it's giving a boost to the beauty you already have. You wouldn't leave the house without showering or brushing your hair/teeth, would you? Because if we were to be in our "natural state", we'd be smelly, unkempt cavemen. Y'all need to climb off your high horses, makeup is not the devil.

I never wear it. It makes my face itchy and irritates my skin/eyes. I also find that, on me personally, it looks very trashy. I look like a fat prostitute with it on =/ My husband and I are working together to buy our own business, and even at work, I still will not wear it.

I'm very pale, so if I didn't wear makeup to give my face a little color, people would think I'm dying LOL. I also don't think it would be professional for women not to wear makeup at the office. It kind of goes along with the "business" dress code. I have never seen a businesswoman not wear makeup, so I wouldn't dare go to the office without any.

Quys, picture is. You've been dating this for years, and you've never seen her without makeup. Blinded by love, the thought never crosses you mind about how she might look with her makeup off. You guts get married. You wake up and saw her wife for the first time without make. She looks totally different. Unattractive is the word.
