Have you ever worn pajamas out in public? Submitted By mindyclown, UT
Only to a pajama party.
Sometimes, I run errands in them or wear them on a plane.

I don't but this actually reminds me that I met the really life patch adams and he was wearing something in between pajama's and a clown suit. So we shouldn't judge people based on how they are dressed.

I would wear them to school sometimes. Hey I hate the place I might as well be comfy.

i am the one who has to watch people run around in them. I wished people wouldn't not run around in them even for 5 minutes. It makes people look lazy.
DaveAsten

I for one think that only five minutes is a tough decision! And even if I did die for world peace, my family would be broken over the loss of an aweso- I mean important family member! Any responses?

I would only wear mine out of the house if I was running the kids to school, then going back to bed, lol. I would have died of embarrassment if I had been in an accident or pulled over and had to get out of the car.

What other people think of you is none of your business. If they are judgmental jerks, why would you care to impress them anyway? As long as your parts are covered, where whatever you want!

I do in the mornings when dropping the kids off at school in the car lane, but you can't really tell they are pj's and when I was pregnant I would wear them when going to the hospital for my stress tests, the Dr actually suggested it since I would be there for about 3 hours. my pj's were more comfortable than the scrubs the hospital provided.

I never realized that "pajamas" was an alternate ie American spelling for pyjamas.
ChanelCinq

And I never realized the British (and probably Canadians, Aussis, and Kiwis) spell the word pyjamas until you posted it here. :-)
shandy706

I'm curious as to how you pronounce "pyjamas"?

(pie-jamas) or (pee-jamas)? Putting a "y" in it would make me pronounce it one of those two ways.
ShadowWolf87
on 07/06/13
Pyjamas is very close to the pronunciation of pajamas.

Are these 'pajamas' anything like pyjamas?
ShadowWolf87

Pajamas are the American English spelling of the British spelling (and more widely used) pyjamas.

People who go in their pajamas out in public are gust very lazy people and uncivilized.
ChanelCinq
on 07/05/13
My work out clothes double as my pjs. The last thing I am is lazy and uncivilized. I don't wear the same clothes I work out in to bed. I just wear workout clothes to bed. And 80% of my workout clothes are Lululemon which is more stylish then the way many people out there dress.
