Wait, what do you mean "max out"?
on 02/26/13
jodiethomason100 liked this
Max Out: To earn the maximum daily allowance of points from a given source.

IE: SBTV - 150SB/day max. SBTV Mobile - 50SB/day max.

Once you have "maxed out" these sources of earnings, you may continue to use them - but you will no longer earn SBs until midnight Pacific Time.

I don't know about you guys but I don't have time to sit in front of my computer and watch videos for 8 hours straight for 150 SB (1 min of video = 1/10 of 3 SB). That would be the only way to possibly max out SBTV limit.

Update to SerSerEnaEna's update. With the release of the Kindle Fire HD the Kindle Fire price has been dropped to $159, so you only need to get 32 $5.00 Amazon.com gift cards. 14,400sb can you say HALF PRICE! If you want to get the New Kindle Fire HD it will still cost you 18,000sb or 40 $5.00 Amazon.com gift cards. At a limit of 5 gift cards a month this process will take you 8 months.

I use an ipod touch, and let me tell you something: it's easier. Sure, the screen is small, but at least I know there probably won't be anymore versions of it. I have the 4th generation, and I'm annoyed by how apple wants to make more and more versions. That's why I bought an ipod touch instead.

I just started using SB on Nov.22 2011 and have a total of 10,000 earned in my ledger. 1/3 there in less than a month. I usually max out 100sb with SBTV mobile, watch some SBTV videos on PC (usually only totaling 30-40sb), 2 or 3 surveys, and whatever other 1-5 sbs that happen to pop up. I only have 1 active referral that I just added this week. Her searches help some, but it's mostly my own casual use. It's not impossible and I don't even spend all day doing activities. I agree with other comments that it's less SBs through gift cards, but I like that they added the option. With the monthly limit of 5 exact items you might be waiting longer to be allowed to redeem more gift cards than you would just accumulating 30k SBs outright.

I would suggest you make an amazon account and just buy 40 5$ giftcards for amazon and the give you the codes online and you can add those codes online to your amazon account and buy it that way because 40 5$ amazon gift cards is only 18,000 swagbucks instead of the 29,000.
on 05/22/12
jsut 1 prob.

on 05/24/12
If that's your only goal though it isn't that long to wait since you will probably earn those points at the same rate that you can buy those 5 gift cards. You'd have to earn 2250 a month to afford 5. I don't know about everyone else on here but I do not earn much more than that a month. So either way you would have to be patient. If you try to buy this without the gift cards it will probably take much longer than 8 months unless you are averaging more than 800 points a week. 800 points a week would equal 29000 in 8 months.
on 02/27/12
takes a while cause you can only get 5 codes a month so that would take you 8 months ....

Ok so... a $5 Amazon gift card is 450SB. A Kindle Fire is $199 on Amazon.com. So, a Kindle Fire should be 18,000SB, but instead it's the equivalent of 64 $5 gift cards. Instead of 20. Ridiculous.
on 03/22/12
OR you could look at it this way: Its a better deal to get it from swagbucks then to get it from amazon usuing the giftcards you got from swagbucks.

you forgot that a maximum of amazon cards that can be redeemed a month is 5. even thou, you can redeem 2 $100 amazon gift cards which is equivalent to $200. so you get $200 for the price of about 23 000 sb, so this offer is 6 000 sb off, which is enough for a $50 amazon gift card. yes, you can save even more by redeeming $5 agc, but it would take you approximately 8 months to do so.

No, this is not really for books; it is definitely more for downloading amazon apps and content. It falls way short of the Ipad just like all the other tablets so far, but it's not trying to be the Ipad and it's definitely still the best option right now in its price range (i'd rather spend the $$ on this than a $200 phone). The regular kindle is still their best e-reader though. Reading off the Fire is like reading off a computer screen, and that's NOT what you want if you're going to use it primarily as an e-reader.
on 02/24/12
samsung galaxy tab is doing just fine. this is actually being sent thru my ipad 2 rite now. It is just as good as the ipad 2 other than its better because u get adobe flash. i cant watch sbtv from here cause of that>:(

it is a good tablet, but it has some bad things.... 1.it doesnt have a camera or a video recorder.2 its screen is REALLY small for a tablet- only 7 inches compare to the 9 or 10 inch screens of most tablets on the market these days.3 its battery life isnt very long compare to other tablets. most tablets have a 9-10 hour battery this poor excuse for a tablet only has 7 hours. i advise you folks out there to use your sb on something else. not this, crappy, poor excuse for a tablet. I REPEAT DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!
